Picked up a "new" transmission

I picked up a new/used 4-speed kicker transmission recently because the one I have would cost too much to rebuild to be worth it. This one isn't without flaws, so I'll soon start to tear it down to ensure everything is in good order and to repair two flaws that I already see--a missing mounting stud and some sort of silicone sealant that isn't supposed to be there.
