Heads are done

I sent the heads out to have a second spark plug port and external oil return ports milled into each head. The additional spark plug aids the combustion in the engine, as the chamber is hemispherical and the solo plug is off to one side. The external oil return lines will help keep the oil about 30* cooler than the OEM design, as the oil will no longer flow from the heads to the case via a passage drilled down the cylinder wall--about 1/8" away from the combustion chamber.

  2. Hey Brad, nice write-up. I'm looking to do the same external oil lines...can you let me know who you sent your heads to? Thanks, Scott
