Disaster!

When I moved onto the rear cylinder, I removed the oil fitting I had put in finger tight on the rear head to apply Teflon tape, only to find the fitting was cross threaded--totally stripping it out. The top section is the stripped part; the lower is damaged from grabbing with pliers to pull it out:

Disaster averted. I'm now waiting for Summit to send a replacement.
